KARACHI, June 17: Four-year-old bay colt, Jawan Bakht, is fancied to gallop away with the feature event to make it two in a row in the Summer Gymkhana race meeting at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday.

On his facile win in the last appearance on June 4 with M. Yousuf astride, he starts as our days back and poised to oblige punters by repeating the winning feat.

He is drawn in a field of seven runners in the five furlongs second race of the day. His likely challengers are Jadugar and Moon Raker.

A card of seven races all going over a sprinting distance of five furlongs has been chalked out for the day.

The first race begins at 2.pm.

On his form and fitness, Fascinate, a four-year-old bay colt, enjoys an edge over opponents to win the opener to make it two in a row. It has also a small field of seven contestants.

He should be chased by Dhoom Machade and Cant Catch Me. However, the performance of three-year-old chestnut filly, Abhi Abhi, should be watched.

With 17 contestants in fray, six-year-old dark bay horse, King Of The Field, looks set to make amends by picking up the third race.

He should be followed by Royal Beauty and Raaz for the places.

If all goes well, chestnut Champion Express, should sprint to victory in the next race. He will have to overcome Ultimate Victory and Khush Nazar.

If tried by connections, filly, Queen Of Mirwa, should pick up spoils in the fifth race. He has not finished on the board in the recent past.

Chestnut filly, Butter Fly, looks set to present owner with a winner in the sixth race to be followed by Arrival Queen and Sparkling Lady.

Animal to be watched is filly, Voo Doo Doll.

Chestnut colt, Johnnie Walker, is poised to win the concluding race of the day.
