QUETTA: Balochistan Inspector General of Police Muhammad Tahir has directed all Range DIGs, SSPs and SPs across the province to ensure comprehensive security arrangements for Taraweeh prayers during the holy month of Ramazan.

Given the law and order situation and large prayer gatherings during Taraweeh, IGP Tahir urged officers to stay vigilant and ensure their teams fulfil duties responsibly and professionally.

He ordered that appropriate deployment be ensured at entrance and exit routes, parking areas, premises and open spaces around sensitive mosques.

“Regular patrolling before, during and after Taraweeh prayers has also been made mandatory to maintain law and order and prevent any untoward incidents,” Tahir said.
