TAXILA: Two men allegedly molested a teenage boy and also filmed him naked in the Dhoke Hattar area in the limits of Pindigheb Police Station of Attock on Saturday.

The victim’s father has stated that his 13-year-old son went to the woods where the accused had sexually assaulted him.

Acting upon the police after a medical examination of the victim, which confirmed assault, they registered a case against the nominated accused and arrested them.

Meanwhile, police on Saturday arrested seven suspects in separate operations against drug trafficking in Attock and recovered a significant quantity of narcotics and liquor during checking and patrol duties across different police station limits.

According to police sources, the arrests were made during routine snap checking and patrol operations.

In the jurisdiction of Hassanabdal police, 1,100 grams of crystal meth were recovered from a suspect, while 1,700 grams of hashish was seized from another individual during a separate checking operation.

The same police recovered 1,300 grams of hashish each from two suspects in separate actions. In Bahter police limits, 1,700 grams of hashish were seized from a suspect during patrol.

Separately, police in two different incidents recovered 40 litres of liquor, 20 litres each, from two individuals in the jurisdictions of Bahter and Jand police stations.

Cases have been registered against all the accused under relevant provisions of the law, and further investigation is underway.
