BANNU: Terrorist hideouts were destroyed in an area located along the border between Bannu and Lakki Marwat districts on Saturday.

The police carried out the action in the Sol area, which falls within the jurisdiction of Domel police station of Bannu and set two hideouts on fire.

According to sources, these hideouts were used for subversive activities. During the operation, the area was cordoned off and thoroughly searched. No casualties were reported.

Local elders appreciated the timely action, stating that it would help restore peace in the area and discourage militant elements.
