Zaeem Qadri passes away

LAHORE: Former Punjab minister Zaeem Hussain Qadri passed away here on Friday.

Qadri, 61, reportedly had a cardiac issue and was under treatment in a hospital here where he breathed his last on Friday morning.

Qadri parted his ways with the PML-N in 2018 after developing differences with the party leadership over dynastic politics.

Prime Minister Shehbaz and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz expressed their grief over Qadri’s death.
