Lawyer killed over children’s dispute in Swat

SWAT: A man was killed and eight others were injured when two groups clashed following a dispute among children in Koza Haji Abad area of Saidu Sharif here on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Attaullah Jan, a lawyer by profession.

According to the police, firearms were used during the clash.

Police reached the scene immediately after receiving information and shifted the injured to the hospital for medical treatment. The police said a special investigation team had been formed to probe the firing incident.

Police officials stated that those involved in the incident would be arrested after completing legal formalities.
