PESHAWAR, Oct 17: The NWFP health department would launch a district comprehensive eye care programme on Thursday at the Ghalanai headquarters hospital in Mohmand Agency.

The programme is a joint exercise by the health department, the Pakistan Institute of Community Ophthalmology and the Sight Savers International. The director-general of the health services will be the chief guest of the programme.

The Sight Savers International has offered financial and technical help for the execution of the programme. The government has decided to launch it in seven agencies.
