DADU, June 15: Four brothers and their mother were killed in an armed clash over the distribution of agricultural land in Katcho belt of the Jamshoro district on Thursday.

The deceased were identified as Miral Machhi alias Nango, Sono Machhi, Bali Machhi, Mir Machhi and Ms Bajhi.

Khanote TPO Gulab Mahessar told Dawn that the dispute was going on between the two groups for the possession of government land near Unnarpur forest for many days. He said that all family members were killed by the rival group, adding that after incident the accused migrated to unidentified places along with women and children.

He said that the accused and deceased were close relatives.—Correspondent
