HYDERABAD, June 15: Building control department of the Hyderabad Development Authority has cancelled the ‘no objection certificates’ issued for some housing projects.

The department notified on Thursday that it had suspended the NOC of Indus Heights, Autobhan Road; Bismillah Pride, Hala Naka; Kohisar Arcade, Club Centre Ward-G; New City Centre, Lucky Plaza, Paramount Centre, Gulistan-i-Sajjad; Abul Hassan Shopping Centre and Mid City Residency.

The authority said the builders of the projects had failed to pay official fees of their housing schemes.

A spokesman for the department said legal action was being taken against the builders. The projects would be sealed and builders’ licences would be cancelled.
