KARACHI: PTCL cable damaged

KARACHI, June 14: The underground cable network of Pakistan Telecommunication Ltd has been damaged due to construction work on Road-8000 and new Quaidabad Flyover, the PTCL spokesperson said.

As a result, a large number of customers on both sides of road are facing outage of telecom services for longer duration.

The spokesperson said though maintenance and operation squads were busy in restoration work, the customers continue to face inconvenience. He assured of completing the relocation work as early as possible.

He said that people could contact General Manger STR-II Qazi Qmar-uddin on telephone numbers 2633244 and 2633255 and Fax Number 2639910 in case of major outage.—APP
