LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Friday arrested four suspects, including a woman, involved in a visa fraud.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Mir Owais Khan, Maryam Parvez, Muhammad Jamil, and Muhammad Afzal.
“Suspects Mir Owais Khan and Maryam Parvez defrauded citizens of more than Rs20 million by falsely promising UK work visas,” it said and added “they were arrested after the Lahore High Court cancelled their pre-arrest bail.
Other suspects Muhammad Jamil and Muhammad Afzal collected Rs450,000 from each citizen on the pretext of sending them to Saudi Arabia.
