PESHAWAR, Oct 17: Some of the parents, whose daughters and sons sat in an entry test for admissions to medical colleges on Oct 7, have termed the test results bogus, and vowed to challenge them (results) in a court.
According to Mohammed Yusuf, a resident of Danishabad, whose daughter appeared in the test, test organizers tempered with the results and declared some of the candidates as passed, who in fact were failed.
In a statement, he said his daughter had taken the test on Oct 7 and the organizers had displayed the results on Oct 9. All the successful candidates were submitting their admission forms to medical colleges, but the test organizers had announced the test (tempered with) results on Oct 17, he added.
It sent a wave of shock among the successful students as some of them had been deprived of their right to admission.
The parents of the affected students have appealed to President Gen Pervez Musharraf to intervene in the matter.
