ISLAMABAD: As Christmas will be celebrated during the upcoming week, Maroof International Hospital brought people together across faiths and backgrounds.

A cake-cutting ceremony was held to celebrate the values of unity, compassion, and interfaith harmony that define its institutional culture.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Deputy Head of Malaysian High Commission Mohd Syafiq Firdous appreciated fostering an environment rooted in inclusivity, mutual respect, and cultural understanding.

He emphasised that such celebrations go beyond tradition, serving as powerful reminders that diversity was a strength and harmony was essential for a progressive society.

He also extended warm Christmas greetings to the community.

Chief Executive Officer of the hospital, Haroon Naseer reaffirmed that respect for diversity, compassion, and interfaith harmony remained core values at the heart of hospital’s mission and workplace culture.

As a gesture of goodwill and appreciation, the management presented cash souvenirs to staff members celebrating Christmas, recognising their contributions to the organisation.

The celebration concluded with Christmas carols performed by the hospital’s staff, filling the atmosphere with messages of peace, togetherness, and shared humanity.
