35-member Indian team due today

KARACHI, June 9: A 35-member delegation comprising of businessmen, journalists, politicians, show biz personalities and academics is arriving here on Saturday from Mumbai on a five-day visit under Karachi-Mumbai exchange programme sponsored by South Asia Free Media Association (SAFMA).

The Sindh Chief Minister Dr Arbab Rahim will welcome the Indian delegation in the evening at a local hotel. An elaborate programme has been drawn to enable the visiting delegation to have a glimpse of various aspects of Karachi’s cultural, academic, and entertainment activities. The delegation — that includes leaders of the Mumbai city will also have an interaction with the leaders of the Karachi City government.
