SKARDU, June 8: Candidates appearing in the annual examination of higher secondary school certificate faced a difficult situation whey they did not get question papers of physics, economics and home economics on Wednesday.

The examinations started on Wednesday under the Karakorum International University (KIU).

The candidates waited for three hours in examination halls but the question papers remained in a bank locker.

Talking to this correspondent, some candidates said they had arrived in the examination hall before 9 am when the examiner told them that they would soon get question papers. They waited for three hours but did not get the papers.

“Finally the examiner told us that question papers had been kept in a bank locker but the key of the locker did not work,” one of the candidates said.
