KARACHI, June 7: President and Chief Executive Officer of the Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) Abdullah Ali Bamakharama has reiterated his commitment to make PTCL the best telecom company in the region.

He was addressing a high-level meeting at the PTCL Headquarters here on Tuesday.

He said that the PTCL would continue to provide telecom facilities to its customers at cheapest rates.

He was given detailed presentations about the performance of the south zone and the development activities it had undertaken.

Mr Bamakharama observed that Pakistan was developing its telecommunication sector very fast, but still there was a great potential for technological development in this region.

Those who attended the meeting included Saalim Ali, Mashkoor Hussain, Nafees Ahmed Siddiqui, Z.A. Tunio, Zafarullah Khan Marwat, G. R. Mangi, Qazi Qamaruddin, Javed Qureshi and Akhtar Jamil.—APP
