Pakistan Jrs finish third

LAHORE, June 6: Pakistan Junior hockey team returned home on Tuesday after taking third position in the six-nation tournament which was held in Poland. In all, Pakistan played five matches, winning three, losing one and drew the other. Pakistan lost to traditional rivals India by a big margin 4-0. They drew 1-1 against Germany, the second best team. However, the team won against lowly-rated Poland 5-2, Russia 7-3 and Czech Republic 11-0.—BoC
