NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 6: District Nazim Ghulam Rasool has warned contractors against use of substandard material in development projects. He, after inspecting work on internal roads in Moro on Tuesday, said any lapse in this regard would not be tolerated.

The district nazim directed the engineer and the SDO to remove substandard material used in the grain bazaar road and Pir Rehmatullah road in Moro.

He warned the highway department officials and the contractors against use of substandard material and said he would visit the sites again after fifteen days.

The DCO, EDO works and executive engineer highway were present on the occasion.

The district nazim also visited the veterinary hospital Moro and seized its record. The nazim said that after checking the record, an action would be taken against the delinquent officials.

SUSPENDED: Two SHOs were suspended on the directives of the district nazim at a meeting regarding law and order situation on Tuesday.

DPO Naushahro Feroze K.K.Memon has suspended SHO Moro Irshad and SHO Naushahro Feroze Abdul Haq Korai.

SNATCHED: Two motorcycles were snatched in Moro and Kandiaro on Tuesday morning.

Mehboob Abro was going on his motorcycle when three armed men snatched the bike near the Court Road Moro and injured him.

He was taken to the Moro hospital where he was referred to Nawabshah.

In another incident, three persons snatched a motorcycle from Khudadad Khushik on Mohbat Dero-Kandiaro road at gunpoint.

Some locals and police chased the accused and caught Mitho Sargani, Kamal Khushik and Ikhtiar Khushik and recovered three Kalashnikovs and bullets.

Later, Mitho Sargani and Kamal were released on the intervention of a motorway police officer.

DPO Naushahro Feroze K.K.Memon said TPO investigation Kandiaro Imdad Awan had been appointed investigation officer and an FIR would be lodged against the police officials concerned and robbers after an inquiry in the matter.
