Swimming trials

KARACHI, June 5: Trials to select Sindh swimming team for National Swimming Championship will be held at Habib Public School (HPS) on Wednesday at 3pm, a spokesman of Sindh Swimming Association (SSA)said on Monday.

Eight swimmers will be selected after trials in 100, 200 meter freestyle, 50 and 100 meter freestyle, 100 and 200 meter breaststroke, 100 and 200 meter backstroke and relay races.

Interested swimmers are advised to report Shabih Abbas at HPS Pool on Wednesday at 3.00pm.

The National championship is scheduled to be held in Lahore from June 22 to 24.

In the meantime, trials will also be held at HPS to select ten-member Karachi squad for Sindh Games to be held in Hyderabad from June 12 to 16.—APP
