LAHORE, June 4: Kevin Pietersen will be leg-spinner Danish Kaneria’s chief target when Pakistan play four Tests and five One-day Internationals against England this summer.

Kaneria, who is participating in a pre-tour training camp at the Qadhafi Stadium, told reporters that would target all English batsmen but singled out the hard-hitting Pietersen.

The leg-spinner said he was expecting bouncy tracks in England and had to control his line and length to get wickets.

He considered the forthcoming tour a challenge and was optimistic about it.

“If selected it will be my first tour of England and quite challenging. I will try to make it memorable with excellent performance,” hoped Kaneria.

He said he was eagerly waiting to play at the Lord's.

“To play at the Lord’s is my dream from childhood. I want to remember it for a long time,” Kaneria maintained.
