14 held in Dera Bugti

QUETTA, June 3: Rockets were fired at different checkposts of security forces in the Sui area of Dera Bugti, according to Online news agency. Clashes between some tribesmen and armed people were also reported.

Some people attacked with small weapons and fired several rockets on Pir Koh, Goal Takery and Sangsila checkposts.

The security forces retaliated, forcing the attackers to flee.

Meanwhile, clashes between Mandarin tribesmen and armed people were also reported.

The two groups used sophisticated weapons, but no loss of life was reported.

The Quetta police arrested 14 suspects of the Bugti tribe and sent them to an undisclosed place for investigation.
