Rs300,000 looted

ISLAMABAD, June 3: Robbers looted cash and valuables worth Rs300,000 from a house here, police said. Rifat Nazeer, a member of the prime minister’s media team, lodged a complaint with the Barakahu police stating that four persons, armed with sophisticated weapons, entered her house through the hole of the air-conditioner. They held the family members at gun point — two children, servant and herself — and searched the house thoroughly, she said adding that during their stay they looted cash and other valuables, and managed to escape form the scene.—Staff Reporter
