U-19 trials on Sunday

ISLAMABAD, June 2: Trials to select an Islamabad U-19 team for the forthcoming PCB Inter-district championship are to be held on Sunday.

Officials said that players born on or after Sept 1, 1987 are eligible to appear in the trials at the Diamond Ground.

The Islamabad Cricket Association (ICA) has formed a selection committee which is headed by Naushad Ali and has Taimoor Azam and Dr. Syed Ahmed Sohail as its members.

Islamabad were district champions last year while

their regional team made it to the final of the National Inter-region U-19 championship last time.

The Inter-District U-19 Championship is due to begin from June 15.
