Basketball trials today

KARACHI, June 1: The Karachi City District Amateur Basketball Association (KCDABBA) is organising a month long free coaching clinic at five centres of the city from June 10, organisers said Thursday.

The centres are KBBC court Arambagh, NSTCC, UBL Sports Complex, CDGK Sports Complex, Kashmir Road and Nishtar Club, Soldier Bazar.

The panel of coaches who will impart training at different centres includes Shariful Hasan, Zafar Iqbal, Tariq Hussain, Amir Sharif, Wasimur Rehman, Raza Agha, Fawad Amjad, Mujeeb Ahmed, Nasir and Jawaid Ahmed.

Secretary KCDABBA, Abdul Nasir will be overall camp commandant.

Meanwhile, trial tournament to select Karachi team for the Sindh Games will commence at the KBBC Court on Friday.

Players of five defunct districts of the city have been asked to report to Abdul Nasir at 5.00pm at the venue.

The selection trials to pick women team for the Hyderabad Sindh Games will be held at the NSTCC on Saturday at 11.00am.
