KARACHI, May 30: Squash great Jahangir Khan has lashed out at the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF) for damaging his reputation by saying that he would train New Zealand bound juniors without taking his consent.

“I came to know through the press that I have been invited to conduct coaching clinic and tell finer points of the game to players,” Jahangir said on Tuesday.

“Being chief of the World Squash Federation (WSF), I have a lot of committments that keeps me busy round the year,” he said.

Jahangir questioned that when those who matters failed to take advantage of his services during his stint as adviser to PSF president in the past, what they will achieve in a few days?

“I can’t do miracles in a day or two,” said Jahangir.

Admitting that he received the PSF secretary letter only the other day he said: “It’s also disgraceful and should have come either from the president or the senior vice-president.”

The 10-time British Open champion said his former trainer Rehmat Khan who has the ability to mould the team was also shown the door despite the fact that he produced the results.
