Nazim opens training centre

NAWABSHAH, Feb 7: Nawabshah District Nazim Nawabshah Faryal Talpur inaugurated Job Skills Training Centre, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology (SZABIST), here on Wednesday.

While speaking on the occasion, Mrs Talpur said that the SZABIST had achieved prestigious place among the country’s educational institutions run by private sector and had been recognized by international institutions as one of the leading business and computer institutions in Asia.

She on behalf of her district government welcomed the SZABIST to Nawabshah and pledged support to the cause of higher technical education.

She said that unemployment was a severe problem and hoped that latest knowledge of information technology and electronic communications would enable youth to acquire respectable jobs in the competitive world.

Dr Suleman Shaikh, secretary, board of trustees, SZABIST, Anwar Ahmed Junejo, vice chancellor, Quaid-i-Awam University of Science and Technology, and Waheeda Mahesar, principal, Job Skill Training Centre, also spoke on the occasion.

The appellants were represented by, Anwar Mansoor Khan.
