Easy for fancied boxers

LAHORE, May 29: Fancied boxers moved into the next round of the Chief Minister Cup Cadet and Junior national boxing championship as 19 fights were decided in first round held at Atiq Stadium on Sunday night.

Fourteen bouts were contested in Cadet class and five in Junior category.

Cadet class

46kgs: Shoaib Murad (Sindh) bt Wajahat Ali (Navy); Azmat Khan (Railways) bt Shadeer Hussain (Balochistan); Ilyas Kachi (Wapda) bt Sajjad Jan (Punjab); Abdul Waheed (KPT) bt Nadir Ali (KESC).

48kgs: Syed Mohammad Hussain (Sindh) bt Kashif Iqbal (Punjab); Musheer Khan (NWFP) bt Mujahid Hussain (Railways); Rashid Fateh (KPT) bt Khalil Hussain (KESC);

Asif Raza (Navy) bt Abdul Hussain (Balochistan).

50 kgs: Usman Butt (Punjab) bt Gul Faraz (NWFP).

52 kgs: Qadir Khan (Wapda) bt Syed Zakar (Punjab); Irfan Kachi (Sindh) bt Shahnawaz (KPT).

54 kgs: Arshad Ali (Sindh) bt Asim Khan (Punjab); Adnan (KPT) bt Akbar Ali (KESC).
