Two killed

SHEIKHUPURA, May 28: Bandits killed a motorcyclist and one of their accomplices during a robbery bid in old Narang Road near Chohra late on Saturday night.

Muhammad Naeem along with his uncle Aneel alias Jamil was on his way home by his motorcycle when three armed men intercepted them and tried to loot. For offering resistance, bandits in panic opened indiscriminate fire on them. Resultantly, the bullets hit Muhammad Naeem and one of their accomplices. Both of them died on the spot.

Later, the dead bandit was identified as Shabbar. While his accomplices managed to escape from the scene. Muridke Sadar police reached the spot and recovered a 30 bore pistol and some bullets from the spot. Police sent the bodies to the mortuary for autopsy. — Correspondent
