KARACHI, May 28: The 20th annual convention of Tehreek Takmeel-i-Pakistan (TTP) was held under the chairmanship of its President Mehmood Ali here at the Theosophical Hall on Sunday.

During the convention, which was attended by the members of the TTP from across the country, the council meeting was also held to elect the office-bearers for the next term.

Earlier, the TTP president in his address said there was a great need for further strengthening of the Tehreek and making it more effective to achieve its objectives.

He shed light on the movement's history and the need for formation of the Tehreek Takmeel-i-Pakistan.

Mehmood Ali urged the office-bearers of the Tehreek to devote their heart and soul for attaining the targeted goals for a better future of the population of the country.

During the convention, Fateha was offered for late Ms Hajira, wife of Mehmood Ali, and other deceased office-bearers of TTP who rendered valuable services for taking forward the movement in an effective manner.—APP
