SGP stun fancied Wapda

KARACHI, May 27: Striker Lal Mohammad struck twice as Sindh Government Press (SGP) outclassed fancied Wapda 3-0 to gain maximum points in their first league tie in All Pakistan Shaheed Anwer Bhai football tournament on Saturday at Peoples Sports Complex.

Lal gave lead to SGP when he converted a brilliant pass from Mohammad Ilyas in the 22nd minute.

Zakir Lashari doubled the lead in 32nd minute as the winners led 2-0 at the breather.

Lal completed scoring tally in the 78th minute, making no mistake on a superb ball from Zakir Lashari.—PPI
