The Ministry of Water Resources has notified that India has alerted Pakistan about recording “high level” floods downstream at Harike and Ferozpur in the Sutlej River.
According to the notification, seen by Dawn.com, the data was recorded at 8am today.
In this connection, the Provincial Disaster Management Department in Punjab has alerted in a statement of the expected increase in the flow of water in the Sutlej.
