KARACHI, May 24: The Sunni Tehrik on Wednesday announced full support to the strike call given by the Ahl-i-Sunnat Rehbar Committee for May 27 against government failure to arrest culprits involved in the Nishtar Park tragedy.

Speaking at a press conference at Karachi Press Club, central leader of ST Shahid Ghouri said the party would also support the decisions of the Ahl-i-Sunnat Rehbar Committee in this regard. He appealed to the people to observe a peaceful strike on May 27.

The Jamat-i-Islami also announced its support to the strike call.—PPI
