ISLAMABAD: Bahrain’s Interior Minister Lt Gen Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa on Sunday offered condolences and his country’s “unwavering support” to flood-ravaged Pakistan.

During the phone call with Pakistan’s Interior Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, Al Khalifa expressed grief over the tragic loss of lives and extended heartfelt condolences.

“We stand with our Pakistani brothers and sisters in this difficult hour and are ready to provide every possible assistance for the flood victims,” he said, assuring Naqvi that the kingdom stands shoulder to shoulder with the people of Pakistan.
