6 children among 12 killed in Israeli shelling in south Gaza: medical source

A medical source at Nasser Hospital has told Al Jazeera that 12 Palestinians, including six children, were killed in an Israeli shelling in the Asdaa area in southern Gaza.

The shelling targeted tents of displaced Palestinians seeking shelter in the area northwest of Khan Younis.

Separately, a medical source at al-Awda Hospital told Al Jazeera that an unspecified number of Palestinians were wounded following an Israeli drone strike that targeted an apartment in the Nuseirat refugee camp.
