Dutch foreign minister resigns over Israel sanctions: report

Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp has resigned after a deadlocked cabinet debate on possible sanctions against Israel, AFP reports quoting the ANP news agency.

“I see that I am insufficiently able to take meaningful additional measures to increase pressure on Israel,” Veldkamp told ANP after the cabinet meeting that failed to agree on whether to order sanctions.
