SHC calls for record

HYDERABAD, May 21: The Hyderabad circuit bench of Sindh High Court has sent for records and proceedings of a criminal case from the court of civil judge and judicial magistrate Sehwan on a criminal acquittal appeal filed by Ms Mah Bibi, wife of late Mohammad Ibrahim.

She had lodged a case with Sehwan police under sections 506(2), 457 and 504 PPC but the trial court acquitted the accused, Dr Ali Asghar Soomro.

She alleged in her FIR that the accused had occupied her shop for recovery of rent. She said that the accused had scaled the wall of her house, issued death threats to her and her son if she went to court.

She said that she raised cries but the accused fled from the scene and she then lodged a case with the Sehwan police.

After challan of the case the trial court acquitted the accused of trespassing the woman’s house, issued death threats and conviction should be awarded.
