LAHORE, May 19: Defending champions Pakistan Army announced a 24-member team for the 2nd National Junior football championship to be held from May 25 to June 6.

Faisalabad-born Imran Hussain, who played for Pakistan in 6th SAFF Championship 2005, 14th Asian Cup and AFC Challenge Cup, is among the squad.

Imran was leading scorer in Premier League with 21 goals when Army won the title for the third time last year.

Khalid Munir, who led Pakistan U-20 team in Asian Youth Football Championship Qualifiers (Group-E) at Republican Central Stadium, Dushanbe (Tajikistan) last year and international Faheem Riaz are other notable players included in the squad.
