MALAKAND: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-Fazl Malakand district emir Mufti Kifayatullah and his daughter were seriously injured, while a son and a daughter were killed after another son allegedly opened fire inside their house here on Saturday.

The incident occurred over a domestic dispute, according to a report from the Levies Post in Batkhela.

The suspected gunman, Mutasim Billah, fled afterward. One of the deceased, Ismatullah, was a Levies official. The condition of the injured is stated to be out of danger.

The Malakand Levies registered a case against the accused and started an investigation.
