RIYADH, May 19: Fifteen Saudi nationals released from the Guantanamo Bay prison camp last week, arrived here on Friday aboard a Royal Saudi 747.

This was the first large-scale transfer from the prison camp in over a year. The 15 men ‘will be made subject to the country’s laws’, Saudi Interior Minister Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz said in a statement after the return of the detainees.

The minister said the government was trying to secure the release of the remaining Saudi detainees at Guantanamo Bay.
