LAHORE, May 18: As many as 20 people, including four women, fell unconscious following a gas leak in a bank on Kashmir Road on Thursday.

Police said a gas supply line outside the bank began leaking, while an air-conditioner inside sucked it. As a result of which all staff, including four women, sitting in the hall fell unconscious.

The Rescue 1122 rushed to the scene and removed them to Mayo and Sir Ganga Ram hospitals.

Except for six whose condition was also stable, all were discharged after first aid. —Staff Reporter
