QUETTA: PPP Balochistan President Muhammad Umar Gorgage has said that his party was committed to the workers whose sacrifices have nurtured democracy not only in Balochistan but across the country.

Speaking at a meeting held at the residence of senior PPP leader Sardar Noor Ahmed Bangulzai on Sunday, he also emphasised the party’s vital role in strengthening Pakistan’s democratic and political framework.

Senator Gorgage also said the PPP has endured hardships and made sacrifices in its struggle for democratic rights and the supremacy of the Constitution.

The PPP leader highlighted the critical role of workers in the party, calling them its backbone.

He assured that long-standing concerns of party workers would be addressed and that teamwork would be promoted to improve organisational performance in line with the current political environment.

The meeting included an in-depth discussion on the political situation in Balochistan, the party’s internal structure and the urgent need for completing reorganisation and appointments across the province.
