KARACHI, May 17: The Dawoodi Bohra community will celebrate the 95th Birthday of their spiritual head, Dr Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, in the city by organizing processions, illumination of houses and holding majalis and other cultural and social programmes on May 18.

In addition, according to trustee of Faize-e-Hakimi Karachi, mass marriages called "Rasme Saifee" will be organized at Burhani Masjid, Shabbirabad, North Nazimabad, on May 20. A total of 50 "nikahs" will be solemnized (performed) by Shabbir Bhaisaheb Nomani, President, Faize Hakimi, Karachi.

It was further learnt that Syedna sahib, who is at present in London, will specially address his followers from all over the world on his birthday.
