GWADAR: The Gwadar Smart Port City Master Plan serves as a roadmap for turning Gwadar into a major future economic hub, says Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) Director General Moin-ur-Rehman Khan on Monday.

“The involvement of the private sector would accelerate the implementation of the plan,” he emphasised while chairing a meeting.

He said that GDA is developing Gwadar City according to international standards to transform it into a modern, smart, and advanced port city. He highlighted that Gwadar offers vast investment opportunities across various sectors, including trade, tourism, and real estate.

The government, he added, is committed to providing investors with a peaceful, favorable, and profitable environment. He assured that the master plan would be fully implemented and stressed that encouraging private sector participation is key to ensuring the city’s sustainable development.

On the occasion, Shahid Ali, GDA’s director of town planning gave briefing to the meeting on the Smart Port City Master Plan, micro-planning, land use, and private development schemes.
