KARACHI: Senior puisne judge of the Sindh High Court Justice Zafar Ahmed Rajput took the oath as the acting chief justice of the SHC on Monday.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori administered the oath in a simple ceremony held at Governor House.

The event was attended by SHC judges, representatives of the legal fraternity, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan Chairman and Federal Minister Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and others,

Justice Rajput will remain acting chief justice during the leave period of Chief Justice Muhammad Junaid Ghaffar.
