PFF detects fraud

Published May 17, 2006

LAHORE, May 16: An attempt was made to send an unofficial 10-member team to Germany to take part in the street football championship. According to available details, a request, written on a letter pad of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) was presented at a meeting of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) three days ago for permission.

The PFF denied that any letter was sent to the PSB. An inquiry is likely to be conducted by the PFF to inquire as to how the letter pad fell into the wrong hands.
