KOHAT, May 16: One of the two senior leaders who had left the Awami National Party over differences with its high command has been accommodated as provincial vice-president upon his rejoining the ANP, whereas the other has joined the Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (Fazl), it has been learnt.

Salamat Khan Orakzai and Fazal Rahim had left the party last year after accusing the Wali Khan family of not giving the southern districts of the province representation in the leadership.

Mr Orakzai has rejoined the party but Mr Rahim has joined the JUI.
