Malik Club in next round

PESHAWAR, May 15: Malik Club advanced to next round of the 3rd All-NWFP football cup by defeating National club in a match played at Younis Stadium in Mardan on Monday.

First half of the match ended goalless. It was in the second half when Aamirullah struck the only goal of the match.

Hamid Khan supervised the match while Usman and Ali Akhtar acted as line referees. Khail Mohammad acted as match commissioner.

The tournament comprises teams from Mardan, Peshawar, Nowshera, Malakand, Swat, Dir, Kohat, Tank, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Haripur, and Abbottabad.

Final of the tournament will be played in the first week of June.—APP
