Netanyahu vows to destroy Hamas to its ‘foundation’

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to completely eradicate Hamas, despite pressure from US President Donald Trump for a ceasefire in Gaza, AFP reports.

“We will free all our hostages, and we will eliminate Hamas. It will be no more,” Netanyahu said during a visit to a pipeline facility in the city of Ashkelon near Gaza’s northern border.

“We will destroy them down to their very foundation.”
