ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s squash duo of Noor Zaman and Nasir Iqbal stormed into the semi-finals of the Asian Doubles Squash Championships after a hard-fought victory over South Korea in the quarter-finals held on Tuesday.

The Pakistan pair overcame the Korean challenge with a 2-1 win, securing the match with game scores of 11-3, 5-11, 11-4 in a contest that lasted 37 minutes. The victory marks a significant step forward for the national team in the regional event.

Pakistan will now face Malaysia in the semi-finals scheduled for Wednesday.

The Asian Doubles Squash Championships, now in its second edition, features top pairs from across the continent and serves as a key event in the lead-up to the Asian Games and other international fixtures.
