Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić on Monday evening announced the halt to the arms sales to Israel, Wafa reports citing the BGNES Information Agency.

President Vučić stated that Serbia stated that he was halting arms exports to Israel, a decision that he made following a meeting of the extended staff of the Chief of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces.

BGNES said that the decision came just one day after a demonstration against arms exports was held in Belgrade, organized by the group “Support for the People of Palestine - Serbia” and supported by student protesters.
